Client Requirements

The client approached Hyperlink InfoSystem with a very clear vision for the app: a comprehensive solution for ordering drinks into a device. The goal was to fundamentally change how customers order drinks in clubs and other nightlife settings. The client demanded two unique mobile apps—one for customers and another for bartenders. Both solutions should possess seamless integration and interoperability. Users should have the option to explore nearby pubs, browse drink menus, and directly place orders from the app without physically approaching the bar. The system for bartenders needed to be simple and effective to comfortably manage incoming orders, real-time order status updates, and manage returns or refunds. Throughout the drinks ordering process, the client wanted the app to offer drink customization and special instructions sections, along with a system that could support multiple secure payment methods like credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The robust BIBE app should also be incorporated with elements for updating exclusive deals and discounts, hence, encouraging repeat customers and establishing brand loyalty.

BIBE allows users to browse a list of nearby bars and venues. Every venue's encompasses detailed information, like pricing, menus, coupons, and venue ratings.


Customizable Drink Orders

Guests can customize their orders for drinks via choosing modifiers (for example, more ice, less sugar) or providing extra instructions. This guarantees clients get precisely what they're looking for without having explicate it to the bartender.


Order Tracking and Notifications

Once an order is placed, consumers receive real-time information on the status of their beverages, from confirmation to preparation and ready for pickup. Notifications keep consumers informed, which reduces irritation and enhances the whole experience.

Bartenders may change the status of each order from 'In Progress' to 'Waiting for Pickup', which automatically sends real-time alerts to customers.


Order History and Refunds

Bartenders may view a complete history of all previous orders, making it simple to conduct refunds or returns as needed.

The design phase captured the essence of both target groups. Hyperlink InfoSystem crafted a sleek and simple user interface for the customer side, with a quick find button for bars, menus, and order placement. For the bartender app, our team focused on efficiency, ensuring that the bartenders could comfortably manage several orders even during peak hours.

Pivotal challenges like real-time synchronization between both sides of the apps were solved by utilizing robust back-end development techniques. With the help of Node.js, the development team crafted a low-latency system, enabling live order tracking and updates. The API interface was devised in a manner that could withstand large traffic levels, allowing BIBE to effortlessly manage several orders even on weekends and special occasions. The end result was a heavily functional app that wasn't just scalable or sophisticated enough for the boosted aesthetic appeal. BIBE's successful launch surpassed the client’s expectations and provided a new way for people to enjoy their nightlife and also make life easier for bartenders.
